Managing Partner

With over 35 years of public accounting experience, Sharon Carlson serves as the Managing Partner at LaPadula Carlson + Co. She oversees the firm's operations and client relations. Sharon's responsibilities include managing commercial and employee benefit plan audits, joint apprenticeship plans, and local unions. She is particularly experienced in various plan audits, including defined benefit, defined contribution, 401(k), 403(b), and health and welfare plans. Sharon is also in charge of the firm's forensic accounting services and tax practice. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Barry University.

Daniel LaPadula, CPA, CFF

Executive Senior Partner

As the founding partner of the firm, Daniel LaPadula brings over 50 years of public accounting experience to his role as the Executive Senior Partner. He serves as the chief executive and quality control partner, specializing in commercial and employee benefit plan audits, joint apprenticeship plan audits, and local union audits. Daniel is also a Certified Financial Forensic (CFF) accountant. His early career included seven years with Arthur Andersen in the audit department, focusing on Employee Benefit Plans, construction contractors, real estate development, and the hospitality industry. Daniel holds a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from the University of Miami.
